What do we learn from the match between Chelsea and Arsenal?

CHELSEA 2-0 ARSENAL

The match between the in-form Chelsea and visiting Arsenal ended in a 2-0 win for Chelsea. It was a convincing performance by Chelsea. And there was some interesting incident between Mourinho and Wenger.

Mourinho and Wenger had to be separated
Wenger was frustrated on Gary Cahill's aggressive challenge on Alexis Sanchez that prompted Wenger to enter Mourinho technical area and laid his hands on the Mourinho's chest when Mourinho told him to just go back to his own technical area.

Wenger responded with a little shove and both of them has to be separated by the fourth official.

What a waste, it will be interesting to see if Mourinho responded with a punch on Wenger's face.

That action from Wenger shows the rivalry between the Portuguese and Wenger has become more intense. In February, Mourinho branded Arsene Wenger as a ' specialist in failure' and even refuse to apologize for his word. Well, that is kinda true considering the fact that Wenger has never won a single game against Mourinh
o in 11 meetings.

In the match yesterday, Arsenal don't even have a single shot on target. Lack of killer instinct, imagination and creativity. Welbeck was no where to be seen until in the stoppage time when he lunged a 2-footed tackle on Fabregas. Ozil and Sanchez had a quite game.

While Diego Costa and Fabregas both combining well to score for Chelsea second goal, they were not at his best yesterday considering they were on fire for the past few weeks.

So, who was really the match winner?

It was Eden Hazard. He linked well with Oscar and Azpiliqueta on the left side and his blistering pace often caused danger for Arsenal defense.

And, out of sudden, he toyed with the Arsenal defence to dribbled in the middle and almost clean through on goal has he had not been fouled by Koscielny that lead to the penalty kick. He took the penalty and calmly slotted it and send the keeper the wrong way.

Throughout the 90 minutes, Hazard was up and down the pitch to help his team when Chelsea lose possession. And, when Chelsea was on the counter, Hazard was looking the most dangerous player in the Chelsea side.

Generally, Hazard was the saver that day when Fabregas and Costa had a quite game.

So, what do we learn from the match?

-Arsenal need a world-class striker that can convert a half-chance into a goal. And probably, a midfielder just like Fabregas ( ouch!)

-Chelsea are not over-reliant on the Spanish duo. Some criticize that Chelsea are over-dependent on Costa and Fabregas where the fact it was Hazard and Oscar that shined this time.

-Chelsea dont have to worry when one of their goalkeepers get injured. Chelsea have 2 world class goalkeeper. Cech will be eager to regained his spot between the stick as he looks comfortable as always. Courtouis need to watch out!

Super Sunday is coming! its Mourinho vs Wenger again!

So league-leaders Chelsea will entertain Arsenal this coming Sunday in what could be a title decider.
The in-form, free-scoring Chelsea will meet rejuvenated Arsenal who won 4-1 against Galatasaray in the Champions league on Wednesday night as Wenger celebrated 18 years in charge of the Gunners.

Having only won once in the last 5 league matches, the Gunners surely face a daunting task against Chelsea who only has dropped 2 points from 18 points available. Chelsea scored a magnificent 19 goals in the process with 8 of it coming from Diego Costa, the new Chelsea darling. The £32m man surely shows no desire to be the new Torres as Diego Costa has already scored almost half the amount Torres scored for Chelsea in the league during Torres 3 years stint with Chelsea.

Last season, Chelsea were finding it difficult to score, and not even one Chelsea player were listed on the top 10 goalscorer in the BPL. But with Diego Costa and another Chelsea new boy,
Cesc Fàbregas combining well, Chelsea have been scoring for fun in the league recently. Fàbregas already have 6 assist in the BPL to his name so far and look likely to add up that number with the help of other Chelsea midfielders consisting the likes of André Schürrle, Hazard, and Oscar.

However, Chelsea need to be worry about their defences as Chelsea has conceded 7 goals in 6 games which is unusual under José Mourinho. Even the likes of Southampton, Swansea and Stoke City has conceded less than that. Their defenses need to be more discipline if they are to stop the new Arsenal player, Danny Welbeck from scoring against them.

Welbeck scored 3 goals in midweek
Danny Welbeck always seems clumsy in the Manchested United shirt. He only scored 20 league goals in 90 appeareances for the Devils but he seems like a new man in Arsenal shirt. 1 goal and an assist in 3 league games, not bad. And not to forget he scored a hat-trick against Galatasaray in mid-week. He could well be a threat to Chelsea this Sunday.

Arsenal may be mising Arteta, Ramsey and Walcott for this key clash but the likes of Sanchez and Welbeck will surely give Chelsea something to worry about. Sanchez seems inconsistent at times, but his pace, off-the-ball abilities will be a constant threat to Chelsea. With the helps of Wilshere and Ozil, this will be an interesting clash.

In defend, Arsenal also have conceded 7 times this season, the same amount as Chelsea have conceded. And they will be missing Mathieu Debuchy for the clash. But, after 6 games, the Gunners are still unbeaten in the league. So, it will be a tight clash in this derby match.

My prediction : Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal.
